Copper Beech Townhomes
Mount Pleasant, MI 48858
Dear Ms. Blart:
The school year is coming to a close in the next month or so and I will be looking for new housing during the 2011-2012 school year. I am interested in living in Copper Beech Townhomes but would first like to know some more about the living arrangements:
a. What are the monthly payments and are the utilities included?
b. What are the rules on pets?
c. Does the building have a high speed internet connection?
d. Are the rooms furnished?
e. How many bedrooms do you offer?
f. How many bathrooms are there and are they exclusive to the persons room?
Your answers to these questions are needed for me to make a decision about my future living arrangements. You may email or call me at (248.255.6565) at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Vincent D’Agostino

Another Memo...
TO: Pam Stovak
FROM: Vince D’Agostino, Paul Lamb, Tim Paul, Kyle Ramfos
DATE: 23 March, 2011
SUBJECT: Capstone Project Three Progress Report
Introduction: With Capstone Project Three due only a few weeks from now, our team has put together a progress report of what we have been dong lately. Capstone Project Three has been requiring the use of our teams’ creative and management skills much more than with Capstone Project One. This is most likely because we have been designing our own company, including its look and function, while also utilizing our management skills. We assigned a team leader to ensure all of the deliverables are completed before the due date. Below, we have included the work completed and the work that needs to be completed.
Work Completed: Thus far we have completed our company letterhead with logo, started our business plan and have come up with a rough idea for the cruise line brochure, as well as the cruise line advertisement. We are keeping a steady pace and will have all of the deliverables completed on time.
Work to be completed: The deliverables that we have yet to complete or have not started at all are: the business plan, persuasive sales letter, press release, and the outline of the oral presentation to inform and persuade. Peer evaluations will be done upon completing the project. All of the deliverables that we have not started yet will be within the week to ensure that the team stays on track.
Anticipated Problems: Currently we do not have any anticipated problems. The team plans on completing the assignment by the final due date with no problem. We also believe that the material will meet or exceed your expectations according to the project rubric.

My Most Recent Memo

SUBJECT: Teamwork Memo
Last Thursday you asked us to review the “Teamwork Quotes and Proverbs” handout and then select our favorite three. My top three are:
1. “It is amazing how much you can accomplish when it doesn’t matter who gets the credit”- Unknown
-I thought that this quote was very true. When you’re working with a team, you shouldn’t worry about who is doing the most and who is getting recognized. In the end as long as everyone does their best, everyone will be recognized.
2. “We must all hang together, or assuredly, we shall all hang separately.”- Benjamin Franklin
-I like this quote because it is true for teams. If the team is going to win, everyone will win. If the team is going to lose, everyone loses. Nobody goes at it alone.
3. “Teamwork is the quintessential contradiction of a society grounded in individual achievement”- Marvin Weisbord
-This quote is very true for the country today. The United States always has been a nation of people that prefer to work by themselves so that they may see the success only for themselves. This quote is a good way of saying that teamwork is a way of breaking that habit.
Overall, I really did like this assignment. After finishing it, I actually found out that I learned a little bit about teamwork that I didn’t already know. What I took away from this assignment is that you shouldn’t be in the spotlight when on a team. In fact, teams seem to work the best when everybody does their part equally.

Rain/Snow Mix
So I really enjoy the spring because of the fact that summer is one the way, but I do not enjoy the fact that just about everyday in Michigan we have a little bit of ice followed by snow, then it all melts with some rain and that repeats everyday. I like Michigan a lot but I would like to live somewhere else. I was born here so I really wasn't given much of a choice in where I live, but some day I think it's out to the west coast...
