Creatine Monohydrate

Creatine was first discovered by a French scientist in 1832, but it was not until the early 1900's that scientists discovered that over ninety five percent of creatine is stored in muscletissue. The first time any of these experiments were published into a report of creatine having bodybuilding effects was The Journal of Biological Chemistry in 1926! Although we've known about creatine for quite some time, the first real use of it to enhance performance was at the Olympic games in Spain in the 40's.
Creatine is a compound that is naturally made in your bodies, and is used for energy. It is produced in the liver, pancreas, and kidneys, and is transported to the body's muscles through the bloodstream. Once it reaches the muscles, it is converted into phosphocreatine. Once in this form it becomes a high powered metabolite. This high-powered metabolite is used to regenerate the muscles' ultimate energy source, ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
Creatine is all natural and occurs naturally in many foods making it impossible to be banned from any store or make you ineligible to compete in any sport. It is natural way of helping you bulk up. Many foods especially fish and beef contain some creatine. However, the very best source of creatine by far is creatine monohydrate because it contains more creatine per weight of material than any other source. The micronzed form is the bet because of the rapid absorption rate and the concentration that can be achieved.
Creatine is bodybuilding's ultimate supplement. For one thing, in just about 2 weeks, Creatine can help you increase your muscle mass and start having more energy to lift. It is also responsible for improving performance in high-intensity exercise, increasing energy levels, and speeding up recovery rates. The sped up recovery rate was my personal favorite part because it allowed me to keep going back to the gym everyday. Soon nearly every athlete who competes will use it. Creatine's ability to enhance energy reserves in muscles comes from its muscleprotein synthesizing action, while minimizing protein breakdown. This occurs because creatine has the awesome effect of super-hydrating muscle cells with water. It enhances muscles' growth too-making muscle fibers bigger and stronger.
There have been a multitude of studies showing why Creatine works so well. There have been over twenty double blind, placebo-controlled studies conducted on creatine in the past five years. What was proven was that Creatine did in fact increase energy levels, resulting in increased strength, endurance levels, and recovery rates and overall better physical performance. Another unexpected benefit attributed to creatine was discovered as well: creatine accelerates fat loss, while building lean body mass! This is all helpful for someone who is looking to get into better shape
First, anyone who is ready to have more energy, build more muscle faster, and have more endurance should try supplementing with creatine monohydrate. Next, anyone who would like to get a leaner body, more muscle mass and also loss that little fat roll should for sure supplement with Creatine Monohydrate. Last, anyone who is involved in intense physical activity, experiencing physical stress and fatigue, and likes incredible results should supplement with creatine monohydrate because this will only make it easier for you to keep on working out or will enable you to keep ongoing.
You can achieve excellent results in taking creatine monohydrate in two different ways. The first way is called loading. This method works very well for anyone who has never taken creatine before and should be done within the first week. Just as the name implies, it involves loading up or saturating your muscles with creatine. During the first four days to a week, take 20 to 30 grams per day. Mix it with non-acidic juice or water. After this loading period, take a regular intake of between five to fifteen grams per day to keep your muscles saturated. You need to take it with something high in sugar so that your body will absorb it. This is also why many Creatine brans are just Creatine with a ton of sugar to help you metabolize it. The other method is a more gradual approach to supplementing with creatine monohydrate. Over the course of an extended period, one basically skips the loading phase and just supplements with five to fifteen grams per day, everyday.
The part I love about Creatine the most is that there are no adverse effects. Absolutely none have been reported in any studies. NONE! Creatine is totally safe and effective. Creatine has never been shown harmfully toxic. Nevertheless, just like with anything, it is not recommended to over-supplement once your muscles are saturated with creatine-there is no reason to. This means, stick to the recommended dosages, and be prepared to experience the very best muscle, strength, energy, and endurance gains possible!
Micronized Creatine
Micronized creatine sets a new standard for creatine monohydratesupplementation by actually producing creatine micro-particles that are 20 times smaller than regular creatine powder. when Creatine is put through this process it costs a little bit more but the results are well worth it. You are getting much more Creatine that you can absorb quickly.
Some benefits of Micronized Creatine are:
-Much more efficient
-The purity is much greater
-It mixes a lot easier
-You wont get and upset stomach like you might with the liquid or pills
-You will for sure have better results in all of your workouts
-You will have up to 2000% greater purity and abortion rate with the Micronized version
Liquid Creatine
Liquid Creatine products are supposed to be better for being absorbed into your body. They come with a lot of sugar and can also keep you from being bloated because they are a light all in one package.. Many people like them a lot but many people also believe that creatine can not be stable in liquid form. If this is true, then liquid creatine products may be nothing more than sugar water.
Powdered creatine takes 45 minutes to one hour to digest and is known to bind with food, hindering its absorption. This is why many athletes who are users of powdered creatine do not eat few hours before workout. Not consuming food before workout can cause many problems, including a lower energy level. With liquid creatine, worrying about food intake is a thing of the past.
Creatine pills
Although most people believe that creatine powder is the easiest to take, some people prefer capsules. Luckily, the products I have listed have been created!
Liquid creatine bypasses the digestion phase, it is absorbed by the body more efficiently. You will not have to worry about your food intake and managing your diet to reap the benefits of creatine. It is the most direct and concentrated form, but may be expensive and not necessary for the average user.

Some Great Beginner drum set advice
A bit about me and what I can help you with...
Whether you are just starting out with drums, or you are a seasoned vet, I have some tips and recommendations for some quality drum hardware. I have been playing for about 10 years now and i have gone through quite a bit of gear. I have played on many kick pedals, mounted my toms on many racks, and set my snare on many stands and now I'd like to pass my knowledge on to you.
Kick Pedals
The kick pedal. Some call it a bass drum pedal but it doesn't matter. I like to break pedals into two groups: Heavy-hitters and Feather-lights.
If you like a loud bass drum and maybe your kick isn't always mic'd, you should go with the heavy hitters. DW drums makes real solid pedals. Thick metal boards and big beaters...which I flip around to the plastic side to get more attack. You should go for double chained also...especially if you like double bass like myself!
If you're more into jazz or some softer music, go with the feather-light pedal.Tama's Iron Cobra and most Pearl series tend to be a bit lighter. i know that Tama offers quite a few options when it comes to the strap. They have a few chains and a few straps. I have found that the nylon straps tend to be quicker and bouncier whereas the chains are heavier hitting and might also have a longer life.
Drum Stands
It may not seem like a cymbal stand would make a difference to your kit, but it does! I've had some pretty weak stands (will only name the good ones), and they would topple over.
OK, so you've got straight stands, boom stands, connecting arms, tom stands, hi-hat stands, and snare stands. Straight stands for just about everything. Boom stands for things that you need to extend towards yourself a little. connecting arms for small cymbals and effect cymbals. You can connect those on just about everything to i\fine tune your kit. Hi-hat stands, tom stands, and snare standsare self-explanatory
First, you should pay attention to the size of the piping. The same stand by the same company may be a very different size. You don't want to pick up a ride stand and find out that its too weak to hold up your 24 incher ride.
Secondly, pay attention to the extendability. make sure you can raise and lower it at a few different spots. On boom stands you should see how far you can boom it without it falling over.
Lastly, see how the cymbals are screwed on. some just have wing nuts, but other have nice clips that just pop on and off. If possible, opt for these because of ease of use, especially when your tearing down after a gig.
For snare and hi-hat stands you should really just look for customization and thickness. make sure you can raise and lower the snare or hi-hat as low as you need it, or as high. I know I didn't write much for these but if you check for those two things you'll have a solid base under your prized possession snare!

Whey Protein and Casein
I have personally used Whey. I like it and the milkshakes are quite delicious. You have to change up the flavors sometimes to avoid hating it...strawberry especially if you're like me. Overall I really do think that takingprotein supplements help you gain muscle and just overall weight. I like to heavy dose it all because it can only help as long as it's a reasonable amount.
...As for casein, I have never tried it so I am going by what people have said and which you will read below.
Casein Protein
- Casein Protein is made of eighty percent of milk protein. It is known for its excellent amino acid content, slow digestion, and anti-catabolic effect which can all help for muscle growth.
FACT: Casein Protein Constitutes Eighty
Percent Of Milk Protein.
Benefits:
- It is a dairy calcium (which is important for bone health and body comp effects).
Disadvantages:
- The sodium content is a little much for some people and can cause bloating as well (This is important to know before a bodybuilding contest to make sure your not carrying extra weight and will be able to make weight).
- RELATED ARTICLE: Click here "Don't Pass The Salt!"
- From the people that Ive talked to say that they have a hard time getting lean, and it's because of the sodium content which is in the Casein Protein.
Whey Protein
- Whey is a natural product of thecheese-making process (from milk). Approximately twenty percent of the protein that is found in milk is whey protein. Whey is a very rich source of branched chain amino acids, lactose, minerals, and vitamins and it contains lactalbumin (similar to serum albumin) and traces of fat which are all good for absorption and gaining muscle.
FACT: Whey Is A Natural ByproductOf
The Cheese-Making Process.
The Cheese-Making Process.
- In recent research, Whey Protein has been shown to have a fast absorption rate of amino acids that are critical for muscle growth. Some studies have also indicated that whey contributes to immune function among others.
- Whey Protein is also known for its powerful antioxidant qualities while it enhances Glutathione levels. Glutathione is a tri-peptide that contains one amino acid residue from each of the following: glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine. Glutathione occurs widely most plant and animal tissue and acts as a protector of the skeletal muscle and other body tissues.
- The Glutathione helps you body maintain certain compounds such as iron in its proper state of oxidation in the hemoglobin. Protein sources containing high levels of cysteine may be effective in maintaining or replenishing whole blood Glutathione.
